Apro Formazione has two training schools in Alba and Canelli, employing 100 members of staff and 400 professionals. Apro Formazione is a private non profit consortium which provide around 200 courses every week training more than 4000 persons per year in the following sectors: mechanics, welding and carpentry, computer science, electrotechnics, clothing and fashion, tourism and culinary art, hairstyling and beauty, commerce and service activities, health and human services, marketing and communication, administration and business management, design and graphics, environmental protection, safety, eco-management and foreign languages.

Since 2009, Apro Formazione collaborates with European partners on mobility projects, partnerships, development and transfer of innovation in the education field. Its European Network covers 20 Countries with more than 50 partners. Apro Formazione managed successfully more than 1.000 mobilities and got the Erasmus+ VET mobility charter in 2015.

CDEA

CDEA has led the way in vocational training in Gipuzkoa since 1978 and delivers Hospitality and Tourism courses to more than 1100 learners in formal and non-formal programmes throughout a school year. The continuous improvement of the hospitality and tourism sectors has always been our goal and we are committed to preparing its professionals of the future.

The Professional Catering College enjoys an outstanding reputation. It has over 40 years of experience in the sector and is the only institution in Gipuzkoa offering a tertiary level course in restaurant management.

It has its own restaurant staffed by students and open to the public. Diners can enjoy a special set menu designed, prepared and served by students during the entire academic year. CDEA also aims to meet professionals´ lifelong training needs by offering lifelong training courses adapted to the skilling changes as a result of technological and organizational innovations.

All the areas have international experience in Erasmus + KA1, KA2, KA3 programs.

EFVET

Founded in 1991 as a European Network representing its member Technical and Vocational Educational Institutions and Associations across Europe, EfVET has become a major force supporting its members in the drive to improve and develop Vocational Education and Training.

EfVET missions to enhance VET provision across all member colleges and educational institution through an active network of training providers, employers and practitioners in vocational education and training and lifelong learning.

Its goal is to offer a network for professionals to foster connection between digital skills, research and practitioners in Vocational Education Training.

With over 1500 VET institutions and associations currently as members across 35 member countries, EfVET provides a unique platform serving those at the front line of VET provision, giving a voice at policy level in the drive to improve the quality and innovation across the European VET sector.

ORIZON

“Orizon” vocational training centre is based in Kalamata, Southern Peloponnese and offers high quality vocational education and training. Its main expertise is on tourism and hospitality training, offering both Initial and Continuous Vocational training programmes (I-VET and C-VET), accredited by the Greek Ministry of Education.

Orizon VET Centre was established in 2012 and is part of Ekpaideftiria Bouga A.E .It was the first private sector I-VET school in the area. The founding team aspired to fill the gap between training and the local labour market, in order to meet the hotel and tourism industry’s needs, thus providing “tailor-made” solutions to local businesses. Since 2012 Orizon VET Centre has trained over 500 students in both I-VET and C-VET courses, as well as on the job training courses.

To achieve its goals and aspirations, Orizon VET Centre offers:

INSIGNARE

INSIGNARE is a non-profit association located at Ourém, in the center of Portugal. We have two VET secondary schools (EPO-Ourém Vocational School and EHF-Fátima Hospitality Vocational School, the one involved in this project), with around 500 students, from 16 to 19 years old, one Local Employment Centre and one Adult Validation and Training Centre.

Fátima Hospitality Vocational School offers Cook, Waiter, Pastry/Bakery and Tourism level IV courses, and has fully equipped facilities for a practical training, highlighting the training kitchens, one industrial kitchen, one training restaurant and bar.

INSIGNARE also provides external catering services.

Our students and learners come from two regions, as our municipality is the border between those two - we cover an area of almost half a million inhabitants: the two VET schools and the adult centre have a regional scope, but the employment service is mainly local.

All the areas have international experience (LLLP and Erasmus+ KA1, KA2 and KA3).

Landstede is a Regional Education Centre, with services in the areas of vocational and general education. We house about 24.000 students/trainees at various locations in the area. Landstede MBO offers a wide range of vocational programs. We provide competence-based education that gives students the opportunity to work on their own talents and improve those which are dormant.
